The Dexter Grace Living Legends Foundation exists to honor the life and legacy of Dexter Grace by investing in youth roping clinics, youth sponsorship, and preserving the values of faith, family, hard work, and Western Heritage. Our mission is to create lasting impact through our youth mentorship and incentive program with recognition, and community—ensuring that legacy lives on through the lives we uplift along the way. Established in honor of Dexter Grace, a true living legend in championship tie-down roping, this foundation sponsors rodeos, tie down/calf roping events including jackpots and match ropings, saddles, entry fees, scholarships, and custom buckles to support and inspire future generations. His legacy lives on through opportunity, mentorship, and achievement.💙
Beyond tradition, the impact on the community runs deep. Our Memorial ropings foster connection, support local economies, and often serve as opportunities to give back—whether through scholarships, charitable contributions, or simply offering a place where people feel they belong. In a fast-changing world, the Legacy Foundation’s work ensures that western heritage remains not just preserved, but thriving—rooted in remembrance, strengthened by community, and carried forward with pride.
A key component of this foundation is mentorship and our commitment to help with youth entry fees based on academic and attendance. Our incentive program is used as a motivational tool. By linking participation to educational achievement, we encourage youth to excel both in and out of the arena.
Horsemanship and Youth Developement
Equine-assisted activities (horsemanship) are increasingly recognized as a valuable supportive activities. This also can provide meaningful developmental benefits for youth, particularly in areas such as emotional awareness, confidence, and communication. Working with horses encourages patience, responsibility, and nonverbal communication skills.
These activities offer a supportive environment where participants can practice managing frustration, responding calmly to challenges, and building resilience. With guidance from experienced mentors, youth can strengthen self-discipline, accountability, and overall personal growth.
